Our Story
From Driveways to Dreams: The Story of Snoqualmie Wolves Cricket Foundation
In the quiet neighborhoods of Snoqualmie Valley, cricket started as just a casual pastime in Oct 2022. A few passionate players gathered in driveways and empty lots, tapping into a shared love for the sport that was largely unknown to the local community. For them, cricket wasn’t just a game—it was a calling, an opportunity to create something lasting.
As numbers grew, so did our ambitions. Soon, the driveways became too small, and the friendly matches evolved into more structured weekend gatherings at local parks. Families joined in, kids picked up bats for the first time, and the vision of something bigger started to take shape. The community, once unfamiliar with cricket, was now curious and engaged.
Building a Legacy
Determined to take the sport beyond casual games, a handful of us formed the Snoqualmie Wolves Cricket Academy in 2024. This wasn’t just about cricket anymore—it was about mentorship, training, and long-term development.
The academy welcomed children as young as four and training them rigorously, ensuring they mastered both the technical and strategic aspects of the sport.
With a year-round coaching program, the academy quickly became a pillar for aspiring cricketers in the valley.
Volunteer coaches—many of whom actively played in adult leagues across Greater Seattle—stepped up to mentor the next generation. The mission was clear: to prepare young athletes with the skills and mindset necessary to one day represent the USA on the international stage.
A United Vision
The movement gained momentum, and in May 2024, the Snoqualmie Wolves Foundation was officially launched. It wasn’t just an academy anymore—it was a not-for-profit organization dedicated to growing cricket in the valley and fostering talent.
The foundation wasn’t built by outsiders or corporate interests—it is rooted in the local community. Every player, coach, board member, sponsor, and volunteers are resident of Snoqualmie Valley. It now is our commitment, our effort, our mission. India Belly and Noble Plumbing, local businesses, stepped in as a sponsor, ensuring financial support for training facilities, equipment, and tournament participation.
Our formation since, has inspired other likeminded people to start their own cricket clubs in the community!
The foundation wasn’t just training young cricketers— it is for us to continue playing competitive cricket at the highest level, it is about building a legacy, creating a pathway for players who, in ten years, might wear the USA national jersey and represent their community, their families, and their dreams.
